INSPIRATION
I wrote this October 2000, almost a year after Josh died. It was the first time I could even put anything into writing. I didn't think so at the time, but I think it is also about me releasing him, not just God, which was what I was writing the song about. Josh sang a constant cry to the universe for deeper life, deeper meaning: "Open up the Window"! and I felt like God did for him. He was done here on earth and God had bigger and better plans for such a man. I loved him dearly but I had to let him go, and this song is about the beauty of that freedom that release
