"The 2nd Annual Josh Clayton-Felt Memorial Earth Day Concert to Benefit the Descendants of the Earth will be held at the Mint in Los Angeles (6010 W. Pico Blvd.) at 8 pm on Saturday, April 28th.

Musicians include; Michael Ward (School of Fish, Wallflowers), Chad Fischer (School of Fish, Lazlo Bane), Louise Goffin, Kevin Hunter (Wire Train), Renee Stahl, Donna DeLory, Pete Maloney (Dishwalla), Raina Lee Scott, Jamie Lula and many others.

The Concert was established in 1999 by Josh as a way to help the Descendents of the Earth raise money for an "inter-tribal Native American spiritual" land base. The land base would serve as a place to preserve Native American teachings, ceremonies and traditions. It will be a place open to all people, from all communities, who wish to learn or practice Native American ceremonies and traditions.

Descendants of the Earth has been working with the California Youth Authority to provide counseling to troubled kids looking to escape drugs and gang influences. Josh believed in the love, support, and peaceful guidance that the D.O.E. community provides. And we, his family and friends, are proud to keep this benefit concert going, year after year.

If you are unable to attend but wish to send a contribution, you may send it to:

Descendants of the Earth, P.O.Box 301, Ventura, CA 93002.

We hope to see you at the Mint."
