Blessings to all! Just wondering if anyone out there knows the lyrics to 'Sense of Humor' by Josh off of his Center of Six album? I caught the beginning and end, it's the part in the middle I'm unsure of. Anyway, my daughter loves to sing along with it and asks the same thing. I've been wondering for a couple years now and thought I'd come here to ask. Surely someone knows. Shoot me an email. Thanx a million!!! Be well.

IN BOSTON, A COUPLE OF DAYS AFTER 9/11/2001 I WENT BACKSTAGE WHERE I MET THE WALLFLOWERS, WHO WERE OPENING FOR JOHN COUGAR MELLENCAMP. I SAW MICHAEL WARD AND APPROACHED HIM. I HAD SOME AMBIVALENCE, NOT KNOWING IF THE SPLIT OF THE BAND HAD BEEN AMICABLE....BUT I BROACHED HOW MUCH I LOVED SCHOOL OF FISH, AND ESPECIALLY JOSH'S VOCAL STYLE. I ASKED IF HE HAD KEPT IN TOUCH WITH JOSH, AND HE TOLD ME BRIEFLY WHAT HAD HAPPENED. I WAS STUNNED, SHOCKED, SO VERY UPSET IN WAYS I CAN'T DESCRIBE. HEARING ABOUT AN ICON OF MINE PASSING, IN THE WAKE OF THE 9/11 TRADGEDY...I WAS STUNNED. I MISS JOSH, BUT HE HAS LEFT A LEGACY FOR ME THAT IS HIS BEAUTIFUL MUSIC.

Josh - Never knew or heard you live (except on the live CD, of course) - but your music from S of F onwards has brought me many hours of comfort. The truth is I miss you through your music. Only wish you were still with us...

I was watching music television a couple of nights ago (not MTV but music available through cable). 3 Strange Days played, and one of the facts shown was that you had passed away in 2000. I felt in shock! I remember seeing School of Fish in concert in 1994 or 1995. I immediately joined the fan club and began receiving postcards from you, letting me know about the bands split and your solo career pursuit. I have always loved your music and have actually turned several people on the School of Fish, who might not have listened otherwise. I am without words (and if you knew me, you would understand how amazing it would be for me to be speechless!). Some of my fondest memories are tied into School of Fish songs. I dedicate "Speechless" to you, as I truly am speechless. I hope to hear your beautiful voice again in the next life.
