Does anyone know where the 'King of the Dollar' video is located now? It was here but I can't find it now. There is a fan on Josh's Facebook page who inquired about it. Thanks!!

I saw Josh open for Tori Amos in 1997-ish and fell in love. I purchased Inarticulate Nature Boy at the show and listed to it on repeat for what seems like a year. I listen to it every once in awhile and it brings back so many memories from when I was a teenager. I started it up again this morning for the first time in more than a year and thought to myself - I wonder if he's still playing or maybe even touring? Of course, I was surprised to learn the sad news that Josh passed in 2000. I just wanted to confirm to anyone who cares, he had a positive impact with his music regardless of the levels of success he realized, big or small. Thank you, Josh, for creating a soundtrack to my life.

I fell in love with 3 Strange Days and School of Fish when I was younger. They came up on my iPod today and I realized I never looked up to find out what happened to them. I was saddened when I read about Josh and I had to see what more I could find out which brought me to this website and it brought me some joy that he left more music then just School of Fish. I'm downloading the additional stuff from Amazon now. I can't express how awesome it is the still see this forum going with everyones thoughts after so many years. I often wonder what it would be like if I was taken suddenly. I can only hope I would have so many people who loved me still thinking about me a decade later. You can truly see the love from all of you. And I'm sure he's up there smiling back feeling the same. Just wanted to share my thoughts.

I was just listening to some of Josh's music and wanted to make a post here. It seems that the really good people are the ones that are taken too soon. He was a talent and a self made man, something you don't see much anymore. He is still missed very much.

I miss you. I love you. I think about you so often. Passing the storage space on vine. I still have the pictures of us we took when you put your belongings in that place. I hope you had a great birthday and felt the love. Love. Lindsay

Happy Birthday Josh...hope you're feeling all the love being sent your way. The release of Lightsong today is really a gift to all of us from mom, and George's unceasing effort made sure it happened. So glad it's out in the world at last. I love you...Laura

Happy Birthday Joshie! I took today off of work so I could enjoy my banana pancake breakfast, and enjoy listening to Lightsong. I started the first episode of Lightsong yesterday at work, and had to stop because I wanted to listen to the entire play while I made and enjoyed my breakfast. The painted birds are singing on this lovely, overcast SoCal morning, so thank you. Thoughts and prayers are with you JCF. Much love to you my man. You are thought of and missed every day in my heart. Big hugs to Momma Marilyn and my cousin Joe Joe. Have a very blessed day my friend. Love, Shay G.

Happy Birthday Josh! I just finished listening to 'Lightsong' and my heart is very full. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I feel so blessed because I know you are guiding me to where I need to be. So many things are coming up in my life that reflect your compassion & spirit. The things we talked so much about. It is truly a gift, thank you my friend. Love you so much, MoneyPenny

Josh's birthday is May 18th. Here is something to listen to while having your banana pancake breakfast. Marilyn Felt, Josh's mother wrote Lightsong, an audio drama based on the life of her son with 'sprinkles of magic', featuring his music. It contains much of his music including excerpts of five of Josh's songs that have never been released. Lightsong has been professionally produced (under AFTRA contract) and is now available to friends and fans. There will be a more formal release soon. Visit the web site http://www.LightsongPlay.com to listen to or download the play. And to listen to Josh's five unreleased songs in their entirety. Happy listening and browsing. Send us your comments. And tell all your friends about Lightsong!

For all you folks who have jonesed like me for ANYTHING live by School of Fish for decades, a 7 song KDOC TV special from 6/21/92 has been loaded up to YouTube. I hope this is not a bad thing letting people know about it but it simply rocks and before EMI finds it and closes it down - check it out! What a DVD this would make with the videos for 3SD and TMA as bonuses. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hw3IRygj-24 That should get you started. And to those who knew and loved Josh, thanks for being there for him so he in turn could leave behind what he did. School of Fish was IMHO the best One/Two album punch next to the Jellyfish One/Two punch there was at the time. I miss those bands and how they so eloquently captured what was going on now 20 years ago...if only we had bands like that now. And I still listen to 3SD every 3 day weekend.

Josh, it is so nice to see how excited your fans are about your music. I just gave away a couple CDs tonight on your Facebook page and it really makes me happy to 'meet' more people whose lives you've touched. Keep writing in the next world.

I had put one of Josh's songs on a mix on my iPod awhile back. Listened to the mix for the first time the other day, and when the song popped up, I realized I hadn't written a message this year. It's still hard to know what to say, other than I miss Josh and am glad we have his music which will live on forever.

A few days ago, I dreamt I was a giant walking among the stars, Josh's music surrounding me, propelling me forward, and I was so happy. His music has been with me since I was a teenager, through my college years, and early adulthood. For the past eight years, I constantly turn to it as I struggle with chronic health issues. Thank you, Josh, for the joy and peace of mind your music continues to give to me and so many others!

I miss you, Josh. My daughter is with you; my son enjoys "J-Cakes" - and has no idea why we call them that... (Pancakes are awesome and so are you!)

I spent yesterday playing the first CD for my son. Incredible CD. One of my fondest memories is of my 3 year old nephew barking when I would play Speechless. When the song got to the point where Josh sang "Don't my dog look pretty, but thats just a dogs life". The CD brings me back to another time and Josh and School of fish did a great job on being part of the soundtrack of my life.

Hello Josh, This good old piano is learning to sing his song. I'm living in Brevard, North Carolina, where life is quiet, peaceful and productive. Barbara and I are living a non-cookie cutter married life. Sometimes we're in the same place, sometimes not, but our spirits are entwined. From my window in Brevard I see lots of deer, two feral cats, wild turkeys, and of course crows. When you came to visit you will just smile, nod your head and say it's about time you found your place. I hear Raina lives nearby and I hope to connect. In the meantime I have Laura and George in my life and George in particular keeps me grounded. I am a very lucky man. My love for you will never end, Violets Forever, Henry

Thank you Josh for helping me to find that 'something' that I knew was missing from my life for years. Your love of Native American spirituality rekindled my own interest in that as well; something I had forgotten about long ago. Had it not been for your lyrics and that one particular interest, I really don't think I would've found the spiritual path (The Baha'i Faith)that I am on today. I found you and your music at a time when I needed it most. The past 3 yrs have been terribly difficult. Thanks for making the journey a little lighter. You are truly a gem.
